I guess its a bug. Only the realms I have characters on are down. I created a LV1 on another server. Logged out. Logged In and that server was showing Offline as well Now.
What in the blue hell is going on?

It appears that lightbringer is offline for me. I thought it was my computer since after checking the realm status, it appears to be online, so I restarted twice. At least now I know that it isn’t me.

Yeah lots of realms appear down. In another thread Bliz said they’re looking into it as the realms show online for them… People are even saying that some friends are still in the realms playing.
It is only realms which I have a character on. I tried a low pop one, since mine are showing offline. Created a LV 1 and didnt go exiles reach, because it bugged out on me. Logged out. And when i logged in, that new realm was showing offline.
None of the realms are actually offline. They are just showing offline if you have a character on them.
Very frustrating that my entire family is playing right now … in the same room … on the same internet, etc. etc.
Yet I can’t get in. Why? Who knows?

Same problem…First it was character not found…then I get in and log out to update my add ons and when I try to log in all of the realms I have toons on are down…while my guildies are still playing without a single problem.
I just noticed my toons level still reads 120…I’m thinking this cant be good…
It’s a coincidence. I have realms with characters up, and also some down.
i managed to get in now. hopefully everyone else is fixed, too
Now I can log in, but my characters do not appear and the screen is black
Same here so it’s not us but the game. They’ll get it fixed, probably by tomorrow if not late tonight.
We’re not missing much, if anything.
