Maybe it’s time for Ranged Demon Hunter DPS to become a third spec.

The bigger problem with only 2/3 of 1 class being able to use bows is that bow is the 2nd most common legendary weapon, only behind 2h melee weapons.

And that’s ignoring hyper powerful cantrip weapons (relative to other cantrip weapons) that are functionally pseudo legendary.
And then, it’s the same 2 categories.
Bows, and 2h strength weapons.
They can’t do that anymore even. The only reason to equip a bow is to learn the transmog now, or RP walk with it.

You’re really not wrong. I thought about that after I posted. But, let’s not forget that ranged hunters and ret paladin are the most ignored specs in the game accorsing to the forums, lol.

And the first of those bows was a dps loss to use back in the day as it didn’t calculate the bonus damage from ammo, it was a legendary stat stick.
Why would you equip a weapon for any reason other than transmog?
