The servers that got merged with ravenholdt/twisting nether…yeah…
that server group is still as dead as ever, and the merge is really new and its still rather dead. I mean, it has a bit more life than before…
But if you are a soloer or just like small servers, and you are worried the other dead servers will be merged with high pop (like shadowcouncil /blackwater raiders which are the two most dead servers on the entire US, BUT there is a very high risk they will be merged with high pop)…ravenholdt/twisting nether is the best choice for a guaranteed dead server group that was already merged/connected. And its not likely they will connect them up again to more servers, in the short term having just done so
In any case. ravenholdt/twisting nether is the best server for soloers even after connections were added 
And in longterm the server will die out even more, and hey maybe they’ll be connected even more in the far future, but at that point there probably won’t be any soloers servers left anyway.
Also at current zones in BFA, you’ll see a lot of people due to CRZ. And warmode has annoying emerald dream pvpers. Non-warmode is a lot better on this group. Other than that, its as dead as it ever was.
