Honestly, after this Pirate Software drama, I hope that Only Fangs gets dissolved or goes the way of the dodo. I think, we as a community, are doing a disservice to ourselves by watching Only Fang streams. They only work to make the community look silly, petty, and essentially a South Park Meme. The level of drama and codependence, and lets face it, scripting, that occurs in Only Fangs, only makes it the equivalent of a day time drama, with even worse acting and screenwriting. I look forward to the day it dissolves and all these influencers go back to working at McDonalds, or wherever they came from.

I despise the premise of streamers. I’m sure there are nice people but the idea of watching other people play video games while you can do it yourself is super weird to me. Also the constant need to grovel for views/subs or whatever it’s called is sad.
Streamers are the bottom of the barrell, the ambulance chasers of the entertainment industry. They are 1 step above bum fights and just below competitive hot dog eaters.

yah, i’m going back to watching Reckful 11 hour MoP vods. So much more chill and entertaining. No degen content gotcha grabbing and the typical OTK sexual innuendo taking advantage of female streamers desperate for views. It makes sense why Reckful hated Sodapoppin and Mizkif. They chose content over friendship, and Reckful wsn’t about that.

he was, until he joined onlyfangs and didnt even troll. reeked of desperation for views and collabs. then the boosters he paid exposed him for being piloted for every pvp achievement. he’ll probably make a comeback after another 4 year break.
I would wager that most of the drama in Only Fangs is scripted and not organic. I had a lot of respect for Grubby, since I used to watch his guides for Heroes of the Storms and he seemed like a wholesome guy, but his “weighing” in on the Pirate Software incident left me with a bad taste in my mouth and I just don’t think I can continue to watch him. Ambulance chasers have never been my thing.

MMOs inherently have drama in them.
Retail was no different when it was mega-popular.
I’m playing HC Alliance and it’s pretty chill, but I tune in sometimes to laugh at others’ misfortune. Or just the crazy stuff they do, the funny takes folks have.
That being said, I have saved a few lives of levelers I’ve seen by pulling aggro off them while they’re fighting multiple mobs. I won’t let people die on my watch lol.
