At a guess, I assume that these other posters are defending msf because they know how one bad opinion can spoil a reputation.
One silly billy erroneously stating his opinion on how much funding goes to ceos instead of charity work could start getting passed around, causing others to incorrectly believe a certain charity is not worth donating to.

Incorrect. It goes to Blizzard then they give them the donation and write it off on their taxes. It doesn’t come out of their coffers, they just play the role of middle man and because it technically was their revenue that was donated they get to write it off on taxes while soaking all the publicity about “Doing such a good deed!”
Give me a rest.
I donated myself DIRECTLY through the Doctors Without Borders website. I didn’t do it through Blizzard because I got a pet and could pretend like I did a good deed. THAT is how you should donate.
