Only $0 to go for Doctors without Borders drive - Great Job Everyone!

I’m glad you apologised for implying a charity was handling funds poorly without any evidence.

I wouldn’t say that you were attacked; more like you posted a controversial thing and people tried to correct you out call you out on it.

How the f did people try to correct me, 90 % attacked me. Read the situation and less your own hand.

That’s literally not how it works. Players have posted their tax receipts in various threads. They wouldn’t be able to claim it if Blizzard already had.

Right. . . and you think Blizzard paying a NEGATIVE tax rate a couple years back came about how exactly? Also jesus, if you write off a donation on your taxes you’re a pile of garbage. Donate because you want to donate and be altruistic. Don’t donate because “Oh I can say I’m a good person while writing it off on my taxes.”

Be charitable, not a self serving virtue signaler. Smfh. I habitually donate 50 dollars every paycheck to charity, written not a single cent of it off. Never claimed it, because I don’t need to get a benefit for doing something in good faith. I do it because I can and it’s in good faith.

Get off your high horse. Those tax receipts only prove you’re full of it, not that people are actually claiming the donation on taxes. They get the receipts because the donations are going from us to DWB, they don’t pass through Blizzard’s hands at all.

Two entirely different things. LIke all business, Blizzard wrote off losses.

Claiming charity donations from a third party would be a class A felony. But by all means, make claims that would qualify you for a defamation lawsuit if you had anything worth taking.

No, it doesn’t. MSF gives you a tax receipt when you donate. The only thing Blizzard is doing is providing the pets.

no, i didn’t imply that at all.
i said your spammy posts were off-topic.

the discussion was about a very specific charity drive.
you decided that the discussion needed to be about all charities, and their ethics.

it’s not an assumption.
it’s an observation.

Just like what’s happening in the posts above with KizmyKritz.
They decided to share an opinion, and try to pass it off as fact.
They’re wrong, and as a result have instead started claiming people are “virtue signalling” when donating via the link provided by Blizzard.
(while at the same time, they’ve virtue signalling about how they donate $50 every paycheck to charity)

People are confusing.

People have a differing opinion and other ‘mature’ people dont seem to ask for clarity. I guess that’s what happens nobully.

Don’t you think?

the thread wasn’t requesting opinions.

it was requesting donations.

on the topic of donations, it almost looks as if someone is donating $100 for every time you make another pointless reply

4 more responses, another $400

Well if you wanted to look like an idiot and move the goal posts than you succeeded.

Kinda ironic telling people they don’t know how forums work, stating they are a place to post opposing views.

When you’re essentially telling others their opinion that your opinion was unnecessary is wrong.

WTF, how is one any connected with another
Something not factual =/= factual.

When someone attacks me with baseless accusations, I have a right to defend myself or what do people tell you to do lmao
