Why the anger, I’m not stopping anyone from donating to this foundation. I think too many here fly off the handle and misread anything way too quickly. To clarify which I don’t think I should, I didn’t mean this time but if possible I give people money directly to those that would need the help. I avoid these big foundations. Relax. That’s my stance on it.

I’m not against it, I think people are really misconstruing what I wrote and are coming at me for no reason just other that they feel like I’m not allowed for a differing opinion. People can do what they want and all the best for those that donate and all that stuff.
I am not “coming at you” for what you said. Just commenting on what you said was implying that the pet cost that much, but in reality, we aren’t paying that amount for the pet, but more donating to a cause and getting a pet for free later for doing it. The good thing here is that you don’t have to donate or do anything. Nothing wrong with not doing anything. If you donate, awesome, your donation just adds to that pot to make getting the pet faster. If not, that is fine, if they reach that goal which most likely they will in time, you still get it.

That’s nothing for the position or for the organization. You giving a few dollars to some random place in Africa isn’t going to be nearly as productive as giving it to a reputable organization that has access to far more resources. It’s a good practice to look into things before you donate, for sure. Would be nice if it wasn’t the case but people can be a little self-centered these days.
