Online mail recovery self service did not work

Hello, I had a surgery and forgot to clear my mail before hand due to brain fog :frowning: and I was upset but found out mail recovery now covers expired mail! but when I did it I got this immediately

Mail no longer eligible for recovery "

and no mail was mailed to me !
I was logged in to the character at the time, which I didn’t think would cause issue because I have done so before and it didn’t state anywhere it would
I relogged, I logged into a different character, I have waited about 30min which I think is enough time to make a bug report.

I recovered 80 items with about 8 of the items being unobtainable, Ripped Ogre Loincloth, Last Month’s Mutton, Twilight shoulders/hats, and some Goblin Neophyte’s Pants (the BOE version sells to collectors for 200-500k if you’re patient)

I am mostly upset about those ones the most, everything totaled to about 2mil in worth on my server !

please help me!

This is something you would do through a ticket and I would really really really really lower my expectations.

oh I forgot to say, I have made a ticket
it is still a bug though and needs to be reported on

I received a ticket back with dated information

"You cannot restore mail if:

  • The mail has expired after staying in the mailbox for too long"

as it now allows expired mail and the items showed up, simply when I clicked the blue button to finish, it instantly gave me an error and the items did not appear in my mail box

this is a bug, please help me

I was scared of rejection and sad so I did not look at the ticket response or get on WoW for 3 days but I was very lucky, this time I got back a real person! and they helped me since it was the website that bugged out!
