I’m reaching out to report a persistent crashing issue that started after the release of Patch 11.0.5. Since this patch, my game has been crashing under various circumstances, often making it impossible to play:
Sometimes, the game crashes immediately when I try to log in.
Other times, it crashes when switching zones, entering dungeons, or joining raids.
I am not using any add-ons, so I believe the issue is related to the patch itself. This has made the game essentially unplayable, which is incredibly frustrating given the time and money I’ve invested. It’s been a few weeks now, and there hasn’t been any improvement despite my efforts to troubleshoot on my end.
Could you please provide guidance on how to resolve this, or let me know if there is an upcoming fix for this issue?
Thank you for your response. I wanted to clarify that I do not have any security software installed on this computer, so nothing should be interfering with the game in that way. This computer is only used for playing World of Warcraft, and I don’t use it for anything else, so I haven’t had a need to install additional security software.
Given that, I believe this issue is likely related to the recent patch rather than a security conflict on my end. Is there any other troubleshooting step you would recommend, or should I be expecting a future patch that may address this issue?
Not sure if your crash is common, there have been a few crashes reported since TWW released, but nothing common, so awaiting a patch solution may not be tenable.
