One Week Away from HC...So...Which Class

…are you playing or are you still undecided what to play?

I will stick to mage. Blink at 20 is awesome. and pyroblast goes BOOM.

Warrior, mostly.

I might dabble, but I like not having any self-healing.

I died, twice, today in practice. Five minutes apart. To the same mob.

I’m a hunter at heart. That will be my first character.

I have no class and thus am unable to play.

Warrior(s), maybe a Druid alt(s)

The #1 thing I don’t want is to get someone else killed in a dungeon, so I’m avoiding healer/tank.

Probably mage because I’m most comfortable on them. Warlock maybe.

Rogue. Can’t decide between human or nelf. I love the nelf starting zone but the human one is so much more conveniently located.

I’m playing healer and we’ll do what the tank says.
Others want to get impatient or greedy? Well that might not get them heals.

I have a practice Warrior I’ve gotten to level 17 now.

It may be slightly overkill, but I swept through all 3 starters until they led to Darkshore > Loch Modan > Westfall before moving onto Westfall. The extra cash and levels has put me safely ahead for a while.

Was the first time I did this, knowing all 3 starters like the back of my hand. All this to say, I think getting slightly ahead of your quests in levels is going to be key to surving a Warrior till 60. Good luck!

Yea cant decide what’s going to be more in demand, since PvP BGs aren’t a thing…

A competent tank who knows his stuff will be worth alot, and will be hard to find since alot will be DPS posers looking for easy loot drops.

Healing will be rough…like you said…calls need to be made, but its costing somebody literally weeks to months worth of time, when you save yourself and the tank to live another day.

I imagine the healer callout will be insane and quite disturbing. Which is why I’m favoring tank atm…

I’m patient and will pull wisely and safely, if I die, its hardly unlikely anyone will cast the blame on me unless I royally screwed up. Healers though are gonna get an earful not matter how good they are when someone dies.

For me its being aware of my surroundings at ALL time, watching for respawns, and doing ONE pull at a time.

Also…However inviting caves, crypts and buildings are…DONT GO THERE!

Literally there is no quest reward worth dying for till you get to 60. LOL.

Absolutely. And don’t attack a mob standing next to one three lvls higher. Twice. In a row.

How did you get from Darkshore to Loch Modan?

Mage or Shaman dps (probably flip a coin on launch day) w/ engineer and mining. Not enough experience at Tank/Healer to trust myself in HC.

Hell yeah, I’m gonna be trippin’ with power.

I DECIDE WHO LIVES AND DIES.

I AM GOD.

I will not play som2 if som2 is hc. I think it will be great to watch the sweats do naxx hc, and the race to carve first on naxx will be a fun one.

If they do release som3 and som3 is plus aka wow vanilla with some expansions as adding retro content to old games is hardly new it depends. If they use vanilla talents as a base I would do affliction/ruin lock. If they use tbc talents I would go for enhancement with misplaced servo arm. I might go arms if wrath talents are used.

Paladin…

Yeah they’re pretty versatile.
I might have considered druid but that snobby Cenarion Circle won’t consider gnomes or dwarfs.
Sister Thundathighs of Ironforge it is then for glory in the Light!

If I try it I’ll probably play hunter. I know that’s one of the easier classes but since I’ve never done the hardcore thing and since I’ve played a lot of hunter in the past that’s fine with me.
