One Toon or Many?

Lemix is grinding me down, and I’ve been playing other toons to feel something, but is this going to set me back? Are you guys playing one toon or several?

I am doing several. However that is because I am retiring my current alts and using remix to make new ones.

My Druid, shaman, and hunter get to earn some R&R while a dk, monk, and pally move into starting positions. However my DH is team lead and is stuck still leading the show lol.

And you don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything?

Nope pretty sure I’ll get everything I want. And I finished what I wanted to finish in retail last week so I am good until midnight.

I am creating 4 characters, one for each armor type to get the reward.

So far I’ve got my millionth Alliance Druid, and a Horde Mage. Now, will I actually fully level them to 80? No idea. :dracthyr_shrug:

I’ve already done the quests on Retail prior soooo many times on alts… So that makes it feel like a slog to get through. :dracthyr_sweat: I’m not even level 40 on either of them yet, so…

That said–I wouldn’t say I’m missing out on anything, since you can just buy specific class mounts you want with Bronze.

… Unless you want to experience specific Class Hall stuff. I hadn’t actually done the DK one yet, so… Might end up doing that next. :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

Not to mention, the annoying hours-long wait of the Mission Table quests is eliminated due to Moratari skipping it :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I’m currently remaining with only 2 chars. Went through Panderian Remix with 3 & was able to obtain everything it had to offer, although I may have had more time to play back then. As for this remix, I don’t intend to collect everything, so for now it’s just 2 chars & specific collections.

On my second. It’s a slower grind than MOP remix. Maybe 2 more, that’s it.

I’ll probably do 1 of each armor type to help with transmog and play god mode on whichever one feels best. Agree with other comments, this is def not even close to the level of fun MoP remix was… not sure why they are time gateing who really cares if others get ahead early, this is solo content not endgame

You don’t need one of each armor type anymore.

I think I’m focusing on one toon for now.

I went Shammy first for that sweet sweet Tempest mount. I have a Mage I’m working on slowly but bounce back to the Shaman to keep chipping away at stuff at 80.

Make sure you browse the achievements and work on knocking that stuff out. I see people in various threads posting about only having +20% xp boost and stuff like that. They missed something.

The artifact quest lines ruin playing alts for me.

so far ive done everything on one character, but i want the rewards from other armor types so ill have to branch out

it’s going to suck going from an all powerful god like character to a brand new one though

1 of every class.

I could be wrong but the more items you collect of an armor set the less sets you need to buy. Mouse over sets and it tells what you’ve collected, if you need 8 or if you only need 1. I’m def not buying sets i only need 1 I’ll farm those in retail. However i may be missing something in my logic wouldn’t be the first time

I mean they’re kinda cheap, I wouldn’t risk it on an RNG drop when I can buy it right there! Also I might make an alt later when XP is boosted just for the extra bronzes.

I’m just doing a single main, where it helps to grind to be as powerful as possible to help beat w/e ‘End Game’ stuff like Mythic Raids and M+ and leave the alts of different class to help avoid paying the 20k for mounts.

Moratari the real one for this honestly.

Back top topic on hand, I’m going to do two at the least. Just so I can have a horde alt prepped for Midnight on each RP server, just in case. If I do a third, it’ll probably be a alliance character just to hang out with the guildies while farming bronze.

I figure with 3 1/2 months to play it’s gonna take me about a month per character to do everything I want to do and collect enough bronze to buy the things I actually want without looking into all of the extras. I don’t think I’ll go beyond two characters unless I really have nothing else to do. First, I will complete my druid who is already level 40 on day five. After a couple of weeks I’m sure I will be level capped with some decent gear and even if I don’t have the decent gear, I can switch back to retail to get it. Then I will move onto a shaman. If there’s still time at the end, I may very well make either a warlock or a hunter.

Playing one toon until phase 5, then I may add to my alt army once my experience bonus is as maxed out as I can make it.
