I know in BFA when you hit max level you felt weaker until about 320-330ish ilvl.
I havent yet hit the number in SL yet.

Or you could do tons of PVP and replace that 110 armor… not saying you have any 110 armor but 154 pvp armor and weapons go along way
The best fix imo would be for them to stop scaling most open world mobs by ilvl. They could set aside a few areas in each zone to be max level only and have those mobs scale by ilvl, mobs that we fight while leveling should not be scaling that way because it leads to us being unstoppable death gods at level 51 that regress into weak children swinging wet noodles as a fresh level 60. New threats at 60 can justify this, but not leveling mobs.

lol…thats probably blizzards motivation in doing this crap in the first place…making sure my 170ilvl is so bad that I feel like I have no choice but to grind even harder, lol
My gear, though, is 158 - 200 at this point.
I’m at 187 currently and I’m just now starting to feel like mobs are dying faster. Although that could be me hoping so much that they are that I’m imagining it. I also have convoke to fall back on which could also be deluding me. Either way it’s a garbage system and wish it would go the way of the trash bin.

Except at ilevel 90, he’s doing just fine. And at ilevel 170, he’s getting wasted. So your comment doesn’t follow what he’s saying.

And changing equations is not fixing math.
The problem obviously exists with him, not the game. I understand how a lvl 52 is stronger than a fresh 60, but once you hit 60 you don’t start losing power as you get better gear like he claims.

This was a HUGE issue in BFA, guy…there were long losts of posts about it.
Its not quite as bad this time around…but anyone that says it aint so isnt playing the game …or paying attention…

Yea I have to agree here, this lock, my main was garbage when she hit 60 at about 138 ilvl, struggled to do wq’s, Tower, Maw. When she hit about 155ish, things improved, but she still struggled. NOW at 178ilvl she breezes through wq’s, can pull multi mobs, 5-6-7, and burn them down. Tower is a joke now, Maw, that’s a different story LMAO.

Honestly it’s a horrible system. You should feel more powerful with stronger gear, not weaker. You should feel more powerful with higher levels, not weaker.

Its not quite as bad as BFA was, but they do need to get this scaling thing worked out .

do the necessary work to improve or adapt something.

People like to come this forum imagining themselves to be so skilled that there must be a problem with the game.
I now have 3 60’s, the lock, pally and hunter. Pally struggled a little, not nearly as bad as lock, now at 170+ she is a beast. Hunter, never had a problem, at 140ish ilvl fresh new 60, i was destroying the tower, wq,s and Maw. The class imbalance imo is wacked.
