One passive "fix" that would vastly improve enhancement

Roiling Storm made baseline passive.

Why?

Adds some degree of consistency over long periods of time, plus allows the Enh Shaman to start off a fight with one forced SS proc.

I know some people will think the suggested change is too small, but I dont think Enh Shaman need huge buffs. Due to the nature of Enh Shaman mastery stat, one SS can lead into another - so being able to “jumpstart” your chain procs at the beginning of combat and every 20 sec thereafter.

And if thats not enough, could be made every 10/15 sec…

Thoughts?

Okay so bake in RS… to make room for what other trait?

Imo just bring back the ascendance proc (for both specs) and make Asc. a baseline CD again.

I think “Sundering” should be the talent that should be made baseline. This would be a vastly improved version of sundering that has an area of effect identical to Havoc DH’s Eye Beam and it always crits, scaling with critical hit percentage. However, the default CD would be 45 seconds and the “talent” (Improved Sundering, or something like that) would reduce it down to 30 seconds.

You get a nice disorient every 30-45 seconds, some badly needed burst AoE, and a small bump in single target DPS. All for one (significantly modified) talent! I think that would be enough for enhancement to compete with the other Agility melee that I play.

Oh, one other thing: ALL shaman should be immune to falling damage while in Spirit Wolf form.

Yes to all of this ^^

Yes, yes and yes.
Plus, give Sundering a 2s stun, insteady of a incapacitate, not DRable with Capacitor Totem, just like the Heymaker stun.

Sundering likely won’t get baked in because it was already changed in beta for BFA to scale with mastery (from physical to fire damage) iirc which is the only reason it’s pretty good right now in the first place. Before that it’s damage was kind of meh.

I wouldn’t expect any changes like the ones suggested here before the next expansion. You’re absolutely right, but we’re just spitballing…
