I did probably 25-30 Delves on each of my 2 mains before I moved on (4x per week for 6 weeks, plus a few runs with friends)… Between my Alliance & Horde pallies, I got a total of three maps ever since introduction to now (essentially the whole season, one char got 1 maps, other got 2 maps). Meanwhile one of my alts got six maps (two dropped in the same day). That is busted-bad RNG that is just frustrating (my raiding main really could’ve used six maps early on ).
I am very happy to have less RNG and for my alts to get a few gilded crests EVERY week… maybe, probably, because there’s still RNG, just less of it. The one map is not guaranteed, it’s just a cap. If you fail to get a map you chances of getting one on the next run are increased (that’s not an auto-drop on first run of the week).
Will be doing more of them when the new variants come.
They should let us buy maps with valor, I’m usually capped all the time anyway, may as well let me spend 1000 to buy a map from time to time
There was a PTR bug that got reported as an intentional design change by a known drama stirrer/unreliable narrator on GD.
Change has since been fixed.
I’d love this but with UnderCoin (or w/e the season 2 Delve currency will be). Valorstones are a semi-pointless (I’d rather see them removed than repurposed); frustrating early-on when you have to make critical choices about what to upgrade and what to leave as is, then overflowing later in the season (feels bad to drop any currency on the floor because you’re capped and can’t spend it meaningfully).
Undercoin has been a great money earner for me so far, i’d like to keep it that way!
Remove maps.
Scale delves up to dropping mythic gear at the end of the run, repeatable infinitely.
Convert M+ into a time trial dungeon mode that offers no rewards but keeps track of your best times.

Difficulty and item level go up every season in end game content.
Well I saw some new’s that said t9 and t10 might give better loot in 11.1 so hopefully they made them harder too because otherwise it’ll be spammed. ( just like zekvir ?) edit: this is wrong!
Nope. 11s will give Gilded Crests, though.
But difficulty and ilevel will go up like all end game does.
T9 and T11 will give more Runed Crests unlike now.

Imo it is.
To some who been blessed with good RNG it may suck but better to have BLP to be guaranteed one per week if you’re consistent than to go without seeing a map 5-6 weeks in.
Yeah, it’s baffling to me seeing people act like they were swimming in maps.
I’ve had 2 this entire expansion across all my characters, two or three guildies have managed to get 1, but that’s it.
