Anyone else find it kind of funny that WoW head felt the need to have a news article this morning about a regular weekly one hour maintenance?
I mean.
It is news. It’s the same tier of news as traffic alerts but news nonetheless.
In all seriousness, people come here saying they missed that maintenance is going on all the time. They give the news through multiple avenues to reduce the chance someone, somehow, forgets it’s maintenance day.

Doesn’t Wowhead always announce maintenance?
I honestly don’t know because I don’t use Wowhead for that.

You know I didn’t honestly think of that - so honestly that’s a good point.
I did not see them announce the weekly regular maintenance the last couple weeks - which is why I found it odd this week
Honestly - a major wow news outlet doing something different than normal is more thread worthy than some things I’ve seen.
But to Guuah’s point - this is probably actually a good thing.
