we’ve been asking for this forever now, it would be amazing. There are barely any weapons that sheathe on back in the game, there’s only a few axes, most of them from wrath, and almost no maces, no daggers, barely any swords.
A toggle to choose to sheathe weapon on back would be amazing.

Players have been asking for this forever can we please get this at some point lol. It would be really nice to be able to sheathe weapons on back or on the hips as a choice.

There are daggers. My sub rogue uses twinblade of the Hakkari from the revamped zul with the elite pvp set. Looks good. Kingsbane also goes on back. Other than that though, there isn’t much.
Alliance wise, 1h axes from dark iron weapon quest (which can be transmogged for horde too once unlocked).
Other than that, there is not much else. I wish they had more 1handers to go on back, but I also like that is only has a few select weapons. I just wish they would make more.
I don’t like that it’s only a select few at all honestly, doesn’t make sense. Should absolutely be a choice for all weapons or at least most of them. You named 2 total examples (not counting kingsbane) from 2 categories of weapons that have 500-600+ appearances. That’s actually insane, and at this point I’d rather they just let us choose with a toggle whether they go on back or not.
Monks have every weapon on their back and can also be every race, so it’s completely doable. They even had the sword from sanctum have a toggle that lets you choose between hip or back which was very cool, and that needs to be the case for all weapons.

I would like that very much too! I think monks have that option already. Leave it for all classes.
I also want to go a little further and suggest “offspec” weapon mog.
Sometimes when I queue for a dungeon in a spec Im not current at, when it auto swaps, I can see my warrior, now in prot spec, with a two handed sword on his back at the same time as the shield and one hand. It looks really cool!
