One-Handed Spears

I always liked the idea of having a big shield and a spear to attack with while hiding behind it.

That's how I rolled when I played Darksouls (that and a 2H, best of both worlds if you know that game).

I wouldn't mind tanking with a spear. I just think it would be a nice aesthetic touch.

I second this motion.

They should have givin us throwing spears for a throwing weapon( i know they are gone now D:).

I mean seriously? What kind of warrior is going to go into battle with a ninja star as an opening throw weapon? lol

Hunters should have throwing weapons...Blizzard invented the Troll Berserker, and then killed it :(

About as close as your going to get right now is Brewmaster. About half my weapons have been polearms. I don't know what other tanks would use that on a NORMAL basis. I doubt any.

At the same time, we see a promo video with dracthyr holding polearms, and they look dope.

I would love 1h spears and/or tridents That we can use with a shield. Also nets for defensive offhand would be super fun.
