How is this not a thing yet?
We have an offhand heirloom “Musty Tome of the Lost”, yet no one handed weapons designed for locks or mages to pair them with.
Why even bother creating the Tome?

There are 1h maces to go with them for healers.
Most heirlooms were named/modeled after desirable or iconic items already in the game.
Warlocks get the staff from Scholomance which you as a warlock ARE REQUIRED TO EQUIP OR FORFEIT YOUR CALLING AS A WARLOCK.
Seriously, that staff was super good for warlocks.

Loom wrists when?
If you’re really bored with transmog options, run some vanilla raids for some staves. Because of how the new transmog level restriction rules work, raids of the appropriate expansion can be used as transmog for any character in the level bracket.
So you could use that sick dragon-headed staff from Nefarion, stuff from Molten Core, or maybe some bug stuff from Silithus if you’re into that.

This staff does not get a lot of love that I see in-game. I use it on 2 characters cause my mage here stole my priest’s mog. Too bad it’s Horde only though 
Oh I forgot, there are heirloom caster daggers too

You should be using the Battleworn Thrash Blade. It doesn’t have Strength or Agility, so it’s obviously a caster weapon.

Hate to say this ,even if they did make a one hand weapon it would have the same stats as the heirloom you would have in a dungeon.
This has been a request for years. I wish they’d just do it.
