One computer (same network) will not connect

when i log into wow on my laptop i can not connect. error is (blz51901016) but i meet all system requirements and have ran all network diagnostics even contacted my ISP. have played for weeks with my friend then suddenly i could not. unable to log into any account, his or mine on this PC. this happens in any version of wow from any account logged into on this PC. there is a rare occurence that i am able to get inot the game, but i am immediately disconnected… its as if someone else is logging into my account but that is impossible

I opened a ticket previously and went through all the steps. i deleted the ticket because randomly the issue disappeared for about 24 hours then came back. ive done everything including but not limited to dns flush, ip renew, deleting wtf cache and interface, deleting battle net tools, resetting network hardware, reinstalling battle net AND wow, changing firewall settings or disabling firewall, port forwarding. the issue does not seem to be my connection or gateway considering i have another PC on the same network with no issue. plz help, playing separate is fun but not the same lol.

Please add your DxDiag here and specify which WoW title you’re trying to play.

attempting to use retail wow, but no versions are working on the laptop.
dxdiag here

Sounds to me like something in the environment interfering with the wireless signal (assuming functional computer running wired and laptop running wireless), a misconfigured router (something set as DMZ, forwarding ports 1119, 3724, and/or 6012 to another computer), or security software on the computer itself blocking traffic to WoW.

Other things that aren’t causing this problem specifically, but aren’t doing you any favors:

  • Intel integrated graphics driver a year and a half out of date
  • NVIDIA GPU driver almost two years out of date
  • Wireless card driver 4 years out of date
  • Wired network card is two and a half years out of date
  • Windows is using a generic driver for your sound card, rather than one specific to the audio device installed in your computer
  • Some process listed as Update;ScanForUpdatesForUser is crashing a lot

I agree with the above comment.

GPU driver is quite old:

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 with Max-Q Design
Driver Date/Size: 3/16/2022 5:00:00 PM, 1055808 bytes

You’re also at the minimum RAM you can use for Dragonflight, so you’ll need to limit background processes to have enough RAM for the game.

definitely looking into the updating drivers now, however, interference seems strange to me if the only thing not connecting is wow. but will update after checking a couple drivers. The internet is entirely accessible otherwise. the most peculiar thing being ive been playing on both for months and without any setting change it just stopped in the last week. also a note that when the “you’ve been disconnected” box pops up, im also logged out on the battle net app on the same computer.

This is just the backup computer for when I have a friend over but it is perplexing either way. may do a clean windows install to clean the system up since nothing important is on it.

Just a FYI if you update your NVidia driver its also best to go to intel and update your Intel GPU driver

after near endless tinkering, I have determined the issue has to be some sort of firewall complication, I made a dedicated IP and changed all the settings from my end, but the issue must be on the ISP or blizz ends as the only workaround at the moment is using a VPN. not a solution but it works for now.

I will also be upgrading my ram just in case.

If a VPN resolves the issue, then it’s on the ISP end. I say this because the servers are working as expected for most players and Blizzard doesn’t limit connections from specific ISPs.
