This is my only level 60. I have no addons at all. The only thing it’s doing right now is stuff in the garrison. I clear the cache, it will be fine until I restart the game later on. It happens again and again. Something is going into my cache every single time and it’s wreaking havoc on my FPS.
In that case I’d start by doing a ui reset. if you don’t use any addons it should be easy. Just delete your cache, wtf, and interface folders. Then see if it is still happening.
Just try the target fps box.
Uncheck the box. Do not use it.
The garrason has so many elements. You are most likely just filling up that casch.

It ONLY happens on my one level 60 toon.
The garrison (and the rest of the game) does nothing to my other toons. Nothing. The other toons have full FPS.
I already said I delete the files over and over again. It keeps coming back. Something in the game is bugging out my only level 60 toon.
If it only happens in the garrison of one character, but the other character garrisons are fine, then what is in the one bugged garrison that’s not in the others? It’s a place to start at least.

I have the same issue. I can’t get more than 60 FPS in Garrison since the 9.1 patch.
Most often bugged behavior on one character but not the rest is due to an interface issue. Not always the case, but mostly.

I shouldn’t have said garrison because it’s just adding to the confusion. I said I’ve only been in the garrision recently, but it happens everywhere.
You said ignore my UI. I’m not looking at anything. When I said my FPS drops, I mean the game is slow and choppy; unplayable - - - that’s why I haven’t bothered to leave the garrison… I can’t play.
Deleting everything does nothing because whatever WoW has done to the game, puts it right back on my computer. Maybe conflicting with my old computer. i7 2600k with an Nvidia 1050ti vid card with old drivers (I can only update to a certain point then the drivers are no longer compatible). Who knows. Doesn’t explain why it only happens to my one and only level 60 toon.

Maybe it has to do with no “renone”. And you are in a area that has a bar at the top of your screen for the garrason. That bar share with whatever the Renown stuff is?
The current Nvidia drivers support the 1050ti.
If you’re getting an error about the card being supported, that may be the issue.
its funny, i have my map when i open it, i get stuttering fps, the fact is, like you, only my main lvl 60 are concerned, i think the problem come from Blizzard.
I did a little reading…
Try to remove the quest log from the map.
" If you remove the questlog by using the small arrow button at bottom right of the map ( minimize the quest log ) , it fixes the FPS drops. "

Yes i discovery this, but why only my main? And, i dont finish shadowland so i check my quest log all 20 minutes XD
I know this topic is old now but I wanted to respond to this. The extremely low FPS magically went away awhile ago. It was never my drivers. There’s no reason it would be the driver version when it worked fine before, works fine now. The problem is, and always is, on their end. I’ve done nothing at all and it’s gone.
