So awhile back blizzard broke the one button macro thing people used especially in pvp.
So why was it bad back then and Ok now that they are basically implementing a 1 button macro?
Make it make sense.

because the game has changed a lot in 20 years
The 1 button rotation now incurs an increased GCD?
Things change over time?
Are you just looking for something to be mad about?
But the 1 button macro wasnt broken 20 years ago. Its stil the same principle. 1 button to rule them all
the game has changed. that’s the answer.
They’ve finally decided to cater to lazy, yet when these people get ridiculed and kicked from content for their low performance they’re going to go full victim mode like always.
It’s a great update for content purposes
.
My guess is blizz is trying to promote wow on console with game controllers that have limited buttons compared to a keyboard and an inability to import addons, just one more move meant to reduce button bloat and reduce reliance on addons
3/10 bait post
Sure it has but it changed a lot from the beginning until the 1 button macro being broken too.
How is this different?
Its basically sayign 1 button macros are ok now.
yes, that is correct, provided the “1 button macro” is their built-in tool. what is the issue you are having with this?
if youre talking about gse it worked all along lol
its the autokickers they didnt like iirc
It seems a bit hypocritical dont ya think? To say 1 button macros were bad and unfair etc but now that they “thought” of the idea its ok.
But its prolly just being done to make WOW for console.
no, not really. that’s not what hypocrisy is.
Because they have control over it and decide what it can and cant do.
Did you even bother to try it on the PTR?
its a joke…a hoax…it doesnt use any of your big damage CDs…
Feels like this question is bait.
Clearly.
another bait thread to mute…
I’m hoping Blizzards (one button) feature is not restricted by the same limitations macros have. I would expect it to be an improved version using AI, something similar to how the AI followers are coded.
“Why” would Blizzard implement something like that? Depends on who you ask and/or if you believe Ion when it was announced.
An orc once said “Times change”
you have no idea what you are talking about. controllers can do the same amount of things. A controller is not a handicap it is an alternative way that gives some players more leeway to play the game naturally and gives them more functionality than a kbm setup does.
Remember in, I think it was TBC, when hunters could make a mouse-wheel macro and top DPS?
