One button rotations prove classic wow design is superior

people like spamming frostbolt and not having to hit 15 different cooldowns.

Elisande has travelled through time again with yet another false vision of what is to come

There’s a middle ground between requiring literally no though and requiring a collage degree in your spec and machine assistance.

Blizzard just hasn’t figured out where that ground is.

If it’s superior, then why do Classic players keep coming back to Retail forums for attention?

The only thing I think Classic had that was superior, was the simple story. Because it didn’t really have one lol.

Everything else, namely class balance, wasn’t great.

Rotations for most classes sucked.

Minimal mechanics made for a more social game, but the game itself was more tedious than anything. It hasn’t aged too well.

They did… it was WotLK. I am only slightly serious. But I remember maining my rogue and it required a little thought in your build and itemization (armor pen) but didn’t want you to have 20 different buttons to push. There are ways to push player engagement beyond adding buttons to combat.

It’s the current design where we have some specs that are really simple and some that are more complex. And we also have talent trees where people can pick less complex talents if they choose.

There is never going to be a 1 size fits all level of complexity.
