As a fury warrior, I have been using it from day one. In a raid, I’m used to being number 12 to 14 on the dps meter for a group of 2 4 14. Now with the introduction of the OBA, I rank between 6 to 9 range on the dps meter for a group of 2 4 14.
For the team lead hear me out, I think you should award the person who came up with this awesome idea a hefty bonus before the 4th holiday, say $7,000. Make it known to the rest of the team that John/Jane Doe got this bonus to send a loud and clear message that awesome ideas like this one will not go overlooked.
Great idea and great job team. Way to go to the person who came up with this idea, I hope you get the bonus.

Do I look like a fish to you? Nice bait.

I checked their logs, the went from being a gray parser to a green one. So something made them better. Its just as likely that it was the one button rotation as anything else

Or you could just like learn the very simple and straight forward Fury rotation and make your DPS even higher?!
I used it in LFR today on my druid and I came in 11th. I’m sure somebody’s mad about it.

Just watched a video about it doing better in DPS than your average heroic raider does on their own.

I finally tried it out today on my sin rogue. The one button does about 150k dps less than I do at 635 item level. I don’t know if that gap will get bigger or smaller if I bothered to gear that character, but it tells me I’m not pure garbage on my rogue for what freebie gear it has on.
Might experiement with it on a character I actually play to see what differences I see on them, but my average parse on anything I play consistently is in the 80+ range. I can’t imagine I’d see an increase on anything. Especially over looking up the rotation myself and learning it.
its also very good using it on the steam deck, now i can easlily play wow on the go!
Decided to experiment with it with a balance druid and it’s actually not bad. I avoided balance druid for the rotation. Maybe it does have a purpose…hmm. If only we can get them to remove the GD delay hehe.

That video compared logs from players not using OBR to the theoretical sim damage of using it. The actual damage of people using OBR is still going to be lower than sims because they still lose dps to mechanics and also still aren’t going to time their cooldowns perfectly. It was just typical Bellular clickbait.

If only we could tip the right team(s) - I agree with you regardless of where the money comes from. What a great idea to help people who have gotten sick of rotation complexity or were never able to master it in the first place.

Neither is your average players in WoW. The vast majority of player highly over rate just how good they play their rotations.
No. A very poor unadjusted SIM calculation does better. That video had no actual logs of SBA.
I tried this one button thing on my mage and absolutely hated it. I don’t appreciate the game thinking for me. I really like thinking for myself and creating my own rotation that is comfortable for me and how I play.
Happy it works for you, but I think it’s very dumb.

Here is the fact of the matter, players are going to test it out, if they do better using it, guess what, they are going to use it. No matter what anyone else says.

I tried it once and I died
It didn’t want me to use Deathstrike very often
Right. Which was accounted for in the logs, but not in the OBR sims. It was bad math made in bad faith for clickbait views.
Test it out for yourself, if it works better for you then use it, if it doesn’t work better for you then don’t use it, its called choices. No one cares really deep down anymore.
