I’ma be tanking tons of them Day 1 for stuff. Your GS or ilvl doesn’t matter to me. Get your fresh 80s or low alts geared up. Just don’t stand in the fire.

The only role you really would want to be somewhat geared is Healer.
Weak healer cannot keep DPS alive, nor tank.
Weaker tank can still hold threat.
Weaker DPS can still kill stuff.
But with weak healer, it will never work. Unless it’s a Rdru. For real though. Rdrus are busted at lower ilvl in comparison to other healers.
There’ve been times, on my Rdru main, where I cashed out nearly 9k HPS. (looking at you Oculus)
Heroic betas are easy, and the new ones are adding an extra damage buff? Hopefully won’t be too bad. It almost seems like Blizzard realized lots of us just like to blow through dungeons without too much thought so they’ve tried to downplay the alpha dungeons mechanics a bit.
Spending an hour and a half wiping in halls of reflection doesn’t make you a good person
They’re not changing the ICC dungeons. And HoR wasn’t hard back in 2009.

That’s literally my point. The quality of player that needs RDF to be successful is bottom of the barrel
weak tank can get 1shotted especially if it’s toc gamma, black night hits really hard.
My guy, not wanting to spend time in Dalaran spamming LFG doesn’t make you a worse player.
In fact, it is absolutely not an indication of how you are as a player whatsoever.

Not if you are sitting in dalaran spamming and monitoring a chat channel. Rather have the player out questing and/or PvPing… those players are actually “playing” thier chacter.
Yes I’m sure the 5600 gs players are out “questing” Christ the amount of delusional people on this forum
But that’s literally how we did it back in the day.
You queue up for RDF and to be productive you hit up a couple of dailies or whatever you want to do cause you don’t have to sit in Dalaran to to stare at a bloody chat and hitting refresh on a stupid tool over and over and over.
The world is, quite literally, more alive with RDF than the abomination they’ve created for classic.

My mage is 5.3k gs and ive been questing while waiting for dungeon groups, just dungeon leveled so skipped all the quests. Just a little somethin to do while i wait.
I do dailies on my 5.5k ele sham and 4900 prot pal while groups are put together.
Idk /shrug

Woah appreciate the positive approach, but roasted draenei do smell nice, so how about everyone except the draenei stay out of the fire?
Isn’t LFG channel worldwide? Why do you have to sit in Dalaran to find a group? Not that I mind RDF, but that’s a weird argument.
Cause for some reason in the year 2023 people still bloody use the trade chat as well, and even general chats.
I would be. Need to get a lot of stuff done before Cata wipes it out.
Then there’s the Argent Tourny dailies for free money; almost a Token’s worth if you do them all each day. And most of them can be knocked out together.
Then, since I have a second account, I can alt-tab to that window and do some dailies on that character.
