Him talking about misinfo is basically him not agreeing with my takes on design, well, my takes on design have historically been pretty good if not spot on, some of the changes i suggested were implemented and felt pretty great to play with. I care more about that than him disagreeing with me.

sub has extremely bad aoe outside of cds, which usually results in mediocre aoe overall, because the burst aoe is not enough to make up for the utter lack of damage outside of cds.

So pull more when you have CDs. Sub is a 1.5m spec and already gains its CDs faster than the average spec (2+ minutes). You should be pulling smaller when sub doesnt have CDs so its the one doing the CC allowing others to pump out damage. When your group is in sync you constantly do big packs because at least 2 players (including tank) are able to put out the damage while others regain cds and do the cc. Arcane is the perfect example of a spec Sub just alternates CD usage with.

They are the same regardless of thread on PTR, betas, paladin forums, etc. I wouldn’t spend too much time on them as they are bored lol.

I wouldn’t say no to buffs (nor would/should any one to their main class), I just want to see reworks. There’s some astounding flaws in assassination that make it beyond frustrating to play (just as there are with each spec of rogue right now), and I would like to see some of these things actually worked out instead of just tuning numbers upwards as if that solves the fundamental problem

I think Assassination, Sub and Outlaw need some buffs and maybe some mini reworks. Sweeping change reworks often involve BlizZard starting something and not finishing properly.

Plus, honestly fixing the bugs has helped a lot for specs (eg Outlaw) in terms of performance. All that is left is fixing some glaring issues with Assassination (energy single target, entering stealth more often), Sub (further addressing the loss of Inv Shadow dust), and Outlaw (making several RTB/BF talents baseline).

they wont tho, the changes you “suggest” were suggested already by multiple people who play the spec, including wowhead guide writers. you piggy backing on their success doesnt make anything more than nusence

You have tricks. You have Throw Shuriken. You can pull an additional pack yourself if the tank refuses to pull reasonably. Keep laughing instead of learning, its why youre trash and spread these horrible takes.

Tanks chain pulling does suck when you are blowing your vanish at the start of a pull and not saving it for the last 35%. It’s not the biggest loss I’m still usually top overall. It’s the boss damage that sucks in higher keys you need to even switch builds. 13-14s you. A still run the bleed build. The other thing about tanks that’s super annoying is trying all these fancy skips in pugs, half the time they fail just run the thing normally you can still time 14s.

Talk to your fellow dps to kill the mobs at the same time. Killing a single mob for 10+ seconds so you can re-stealth isn’t worth it.

Yep, for sure. 100% you can be the kinda dps that pulls for the tank, that’s dope that that’s working for you. In my experience, most people really don’t like that self oriented kind of play-style or person.

But In this particular example, in this post, the grief was not that the tank wasn’t pulling enough; rather that he was pulling back to back without reprieve for stealth. And when he brought it up with the tank, in the same way you would to communicate that he should pull around your cool-downs, he was told to change class. Sorry mate, that’s why I thought you were making a funny joke. Cos it would have been a funny joke.
