Regardless, people like him ruined the word for me, but i am not gonna go around forcing people not to say it.

Any time you ever get the itch though, this dude’s offer is on the table.

I don’t expect you to take it, but it’s an everlasting offer.

Funny thing is as a old lady, it actually feels more inclusive for me when people call me “dude” in-game

Maybe they think you’re a “tom-boi”? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Dudette is kind of funny and cute, especially when it makes women cringe ahahaha.

But seriously I identify as a gamer.

“Dude” has become a gender-unspecific term, as far as I am concerned. In fact, “dude” is not even human specific. A stapler fell on my foot today, as I picked it up I glared at it and said, “really, dude!?”

Just don’t complain when I come back with “girl” and “girlfriend.”

Everyone is girlfriend.

i can top that…

I’m a man, and someone called me mama “Name” at my job, i laughed at it.

Dude is a weird word to still be in use, considering it comes from the “Dude Ranches” in the early 1900s, where rich city tourists would pay to pretend to be a cowboy for a while. The tourists were the ones who were called “dudes.”

G.I.R.L.: Guy In Real Life

I personally prefer to use ‘folks.’

I can’t even remember the last time I said ‘dude’ despite rather liking it as a word.

I like Krystella’s outfit I think she’s cute then found she’s a dude, so these days I assume that he is right that every cute chick-toon is a dude

The old saying is:

No it doesn’t, in spanish there is 2 kind of pronounce terms, 1 neutral and 1 female. “nosotras” refer to a group of females exclusively, while “nosotros” is for everyone. Same goes for other terms like “latinos” and “latinas”.

“Vos” is “you”. It is gender neutral. “Vas” is not a pronounce, it is a verb in some countries, vas is like “go”.

Example: Where are you going = Vos donde vas.

That means we have 1 pronounce that is for females only and 1 that is for everyone which you can say is “gender neutral”.

So all that LatinX thing just really doesn’t make any sense lol.

Edit: Sorry don’t mean to sound like I am trying to “correct” you but yeah, I just had to lol.

To me that’s all just nonsense that makes 0 sense to me

I was in basic training with a guy who hated to be called “dude” because he said that was cowboy talk for unflattering cow anatomy. o.0

I want a Good Burger now.

If I’m breathing, there shall be dudes… and dudettes! No shame… then again, no game either. I also use dame and doll… now get off my lawn.
