On Night elf classes

I find this comment bothersome and insulting. Orcs were able to unlock the secrets of the elements, the fel, and the void but the arcane is where we draw the line? Because it requires reading a book? They’re descended from titan constructs and have a natural affinity for magic. They’ve always been receptive and open to new forms of magic. In this case, they learned to be mages from their troll and Forsaken allies in the Horde.

Pretty sure individuals like Ner’zhul and Gul’dan had a lot of mental discipline. Hell, any shaman would, what with the give and take relationship they have with the elements.

Edit: If anything annoys me it’s that they never picked up any arcane knowledge from the Ogres, arrakoa, or draenei on Draenor. All of whom utilized arcane magic with proficiency.

If Ogres can do it, Orcs can. Orcs are the smartest of the Gronn subspecies.

Neither since both the Cenarion Circle, and the Sentinels are open to both genders. That said, so is the Temple of Elune.

The Cenarion Circle is like a stag fest I’d avoid those if I were you

Only the Wardens are still exclusively gender restricted. There are no male Wardens. Every other part of night elf society has been fully integrated.

Hey, if Ogres of all races can be mages, then an orc can as well. Anyone has the capacity to learn a skill, and that is what the arcane is in this universe.

The forsaken and blood elves taught the orcs just fine. Though they didn’t teach the first wave of students not to bite off more than they could chew, because we ended up with Hagara the Storm-binder as a raid boss because she tried to bind elementals other than water, and she ended up bound instead.

That because you have yet me. Let me show you the wonders of orcdom.

I could honestly care less. Let “Legoolias” do his thing.

Before I would’ve said yes. Now I just chalk it up to they’ll take whatever night elf they can get in any roll. You know since most of them are dead.

Eh. Female nelf druids look way better than males. Just kick the males out.

We do not need them.

Wow you guessed me exactly lol

I don’t really think much about it, i mean there are female nelf druid NPCs and male nelf hunter NPCs now too, it’s an old part of their culture that they don’t practice anymore to prevent their females from learning druidism or males from becoming sentinels

Night Elf Mages are still pretty hard to stomach, tbh.

This is my thinking as well. I am sure there would be plenty of tradesman and farmers, possibly even hunters (not talking about huntresses which seems to be a title of sorts) and rogues.

Huntresses were members of the military. It is a title/rank/position. But the military was open to all. There are even famous Night Elf male military leaders like Jarod Shadowsong and Lord Ravencrest.

After Night Elf society was shattered during the Sundering, the Priestesses of Elune took over most military functions, including forming the Watchers. So most of the military are female, but it is not a requirement.

NE players are supposedly all very young for NEs, and grew up with some cultural shake ups, so they aren’t restricted for the most part.

what do our male night friends do with all that free time?

The same thing as the ladies: Protect Kalimdor.

Or sleep in the Emerald Dream, for the lazy ones. :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually I did a read up on WoWpedia. during the Long Vigil the Sentinel army was exclusively all female. Also it was considered forbidden for females to practice druidism and males to enter the Priesthood.

A lot of this change after the Third War though as a great many Night elves died during Hyjal.
