On an RP server

How long can a player camp another player before its considered harassment / griefing.
As an experiment in two separate zones at level 60. I would accept resurrection only to be instantly killed again. I had been camped for nearly 1 straight hour by the same three opposing faction players who would repeatedly T-bag and kill upon resurrection.

I understand i rolled on a PVP server. However there is a point where this is borderline harassment / griefing on an RP server as the game becomes unplayable. Where npcs such as repair vendors, quest turn in npcs, and flight path npcs are also killed consistently. There is a clause in the TOS that constitutes bannable behavior that “interferes with rp” And constantly ganking the same players repeatedly. This morning has been roughly 1 hour of a large pack of horde killing and T-bagging players across zones, as well as flight path npcs, not allowing players to leave the zone, continuously being farmed until players logout.

I once more understand i am on a PVP realm but if blizzard doesnt act on rules inside their TOS on this behavior, will the company / devs really be surprised when numbers continue to drop? There is less than a 10th of the playerbase still playing at this point from phase 1. This behavior has been going on for the last 3 phases. The games population will continue to decline especially on an RP server. With horde running around with clearly none rp names, ganking the same players for 20 - 30 minutes even up to 1 entire hour now. Constantly killing quest npcs and flight path npcs.

This is an issue that will continue to kill the game even further on RP servers.

Does anyone know what constitutes “grief pvp, or harassment pvp” means if this behavior is allowed?

PvP problems require PvP solutions.

If you don’t like it, reroll onto a PvE server. Providing the rules below for Blizzard’s stance.

WOW CLASSIC AND WRATH OF THE LICH KING CLASSIC

"If you do not wish to engage in regular PvP combat, you must create your character on a Player versus Environment (PvE) realm. On a PvE realm, you can freely choose when you want to engage in open world PvP combat by enabling or disabling your PvP flag.

If you chose to create your character on a PvP realm, Game Masters will not address situations where you are repeatedly killed by the opposite faction. This includes situations that may be considered dishonorable such as corpse camping or killing players well below your level."

In the interest of retaining players Blizzard should really just re-open the PvP to PvE transfers that they have already opened before.

Or … they should put a disclaimer on PvP servers with a blurb similar to what they have for the hardcore servers.

In future releases they probably should. They should also stick to a firm “no transfers” stance if that’s what they want. As it stands now, that genie is already out of the bottle and it seems foolish to try squeezing it back in.

Welp, we had a wonderful PvE-RP server but apparently having 2000 people online at a time was too ‘lean’ for Blizzard so enjoy getting griefed on the streamer megaserver!

…My real answer to this question is to just quit SoD. Blizz started off strong with this, but as time went on its clear they have a bunch of morons running it.

They’re RPing as mindless killing machines you’re coming back to life is actually interfering with their RP.

Viable strategy in battle to turn the tide in their favor. Less alliance around with no quest NPC to talk to.
