I dont see the buff and my mount speed is still only 100% ground and 310% flying. Any help to understand this?
Do you have an addon that shows your actual speed?
I think that 100% does not factor in any speed buffs.
No, I was not aware I needed another addon to show whether or not my Passive aura was active. Sounds like that should be built in. I literally do NOT see a buff in my auras that says On Pale Horse. Should I not see that?
Yes, the UI should do a better job of this.
Extended character stats addon is one that does a good job with all the stats you could want including speed. You can hide/show the ones you need.

They have hid a lot of information from the player. You used to see a lot more information than you do now. It’s not an important buff so it’s probably hidden so the buffs aren’t crowded with useless information.
Yeah I’m realizing that now. Kind of like other passives that just arent shown.
Or how they used to show things like rune recharge rate but don’t anymore.
