Omnibar fix

yoyo,

for those who are having issues with omnibar addon, here’s a fix/code update:

if you use the twitch app for addons
-go to your wow addon folder, delete omnibar, reinstall, copy and paste in file location
https://github.com/jordonwow/omnibar/files/5395200/OmniBar.zip

if you prefer to update your code manually/have manual addons
-go to your wow addon folder
-delete line 107 in Options.lua
local s = Spell:CreateFromSpellID(spellID)
s:ContinueOnSpellLoad(function()
descriptions[spellID] = s:GetSpellDescription()
end

and replace with the line below

descriptions[spellID] = GetSpellDescription(spellID)

2 different characters, same name, information is right in front of my face, I didn’t have to creep on anything. Just saying man it looks weird.

thats incorrect. this is my second post on forums, and i didnt thank myself on any alts. kinda weird of you guys to accuse. i made the same post on my classic level 23 rsham by mistake, so i deleted it and wanted to post from mashing. i was in disc with a couple friends and i linked it, im guessing the first one about my xmog is a friend memeing. you guys are trippin. what are the different characters with the same name?

nah, no shot i did. i told my friends to upvote the post. we’re all new to forums. i dont need social media validation, just thought id share since many people have been tripping about omnibar.

additional info. its not my fix, its from github. to give credit where its due.

also, explain how this guy is linked to my account (https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/u/Beardbelly-blaumeux/summary)? you think simply if someone joins when the post is new that its the person who posted on their alt? your point about the same name characters makes no sense. dont troll a post, get out more dude

Weird my normal one seems to be working, but I guess if it’s grabbing all sorts of spellid’s incorrectly maybe it’s the source of my errors pop up window in arena :thinking::ok_hand:
