At the Large Lunker Sighting in Ohn’ahran Plains and have repeated used Ominous Conchs to summon a Lunker. Each time a “Astray Splasher” is summoned instead.

Oh my god, I just experienced this bug myself and wasted 10 Ominous conches because of it.

Trying to use up conchs… all they’re summoning are those stupid things
Astray Splashers are the special lunker type for that fishing site. The special fishing areas (i.e. all of them except Waking Shores) have unique lunker pools.
