How about if they just asked if they’d raise the drop rate. That would be a lot easier than designing a skip for an old raid. But then I guess if there isn’t any good content for people to do, they focus on old content.
transmog qol is the trans qol we actually need.
it was offered for a limited time.
you missed it.
because you are poor.
your money making skills are weak.
Let’s peel the onion on this one.
They won’t increase the drop rate. Although it’s easily disproven by their own track record, they will cite “it’s ok to have rare things.” Even worse, a large portion of the community will parrot this answer even though, again, it’s easily disproven.
So a better answer might be: Since Blizzard has admitted the drop rate for the X-45 Rocket “isn’t fun” and they will be taking measures next Holiday to help with the drop rate: CAN a similar system be but in place for Tusks and other things with a sub-1% drop rates?
AHH! But there is already an obvious “no” answer to that. I’ll leave it to the reader to figure that one out.
So in the end, I think a skip would be the only solution the Devs and the Players could agree upon. And they don’t seem open to a skip for some dumm reason.
Should have been put in the game ages ago, Blizz have already shown they don’t care about people running old content when they did the stat squish in the Shadowlands Pre-patch. All of a sudden the Legion raids that people had been soloing every week were now impossible to solo. They said they were going to fix it, but never did. Their solution ‘go get more gear from Shadowlands’ and even then still wasn’t near the same level of power.
Even though I completely disagreed with it, I understood the reasoning behind nerfing the drop rate of the Love Rocket.
It has the same rarity as the four MoP bosses and Tusks but unlike those 5 you can farm them 52 weeks out of the year as opposed to 2.
So yeah, different situation.
We need more than just siege. Molten core, black temple, etc.
He doesn’t see it as suffering because he’s incapable of imagining an alternative. He will accept everything without question and never dare to ask, “how can i make a process better, how can i take something old and modernize it to better suit an ever changing society?”
He literally did, it’s regarding SoO? Put on your old man reading glasses i guess
Maybe but SoO and Dragon Soul should be at the top of the list
Neither of those raids comes anywhere close to the hour+ it takes just to get to Garrosh.
Although I don’t disagree with adding skips. We just need to prioritize the bad raids first.
Dragon Soul could use a skip too, unless the Spine mechanic gets nerfed at some point (doubtful lulz).
Although you’re right and (now that I read it) it’s obvious, I’ll be honest: I didn’t even think of that.
What I was referring to was that Blizz will make X-45 easier but not Tusks … because Tusks is a LORE item. I think they handle Tusks with an entirely different set of dust-free gloves because Tusks have actual MEANING to the game.
X-45 is just a locker-room joke to point and snicker.
Tusks are tied to the history of the game.
That’s two different things.
Going to wave my noob card…
What lore?
There is a pivotal sequence in WC3 (the old RTS) where Thrall and Grom Hellscream face Mannoroth. They’re losing, BADLY, when Grom sacrifices himself to land the killing blow against Mannoroth. By killing Mannoroth, he frees the Orcs from their enslavement to the demons.
There is a statue in Orgrimmar that Thrall put there.
In Vanilla WoW, you can go to Ashenvale and ACTUALLY VISIT THE PLACE WHERE IT HAPPENED in WC3!! I remember just accidentally finding it in Vanilla and… it literally gave me chills. It was AMAZING!! There is a shrine there, as well.
There is a holiday event that tasks you to go to that Shrine and light a candle. I forget which one it is.
And then in BC, when you go to Nagrand, there is a quest chain in Garadar that will have like a highlight reel and replay that fight from WC3. It’s REALLY cool!
As for the Tusks themselves, Grom’s son, Garrosh, took the Tusks as his own and wore them as his shoulder armor. All through WoW up to MoP you can see Garrosh wearing the Tusks of Mannoroth.
For ME… it is the most MASSIVE piece of Warcraft lore that a player can ACTUALLY WEAR. And as an ORC … WARRIOR??? Get out of here!! If and when the day comes they finally drop, I will never wear another piece of armor again.
Still looking for those BFA skips where those raids are locked behind zones that need to be unlocked through story line.
Did Crendor ask about zombie dragons tho?
I didn’t know WoWCrendor still made content.
If you take an hour to clear siege, I’m worried.
Forget SoO skips. Give me Dragon Soul skips. I hate having to solo that place for mounts.
So much waiting around.
It’s settled. Blizz needs to give us an SoO and DS skip and #Wowsaved!
You’re kidding right?
How long do you think a full clear of Siege takes?
