OMG it finally happened. The most important question in wow was finally asked

Which, by default, means Clark is against it because I really think he likes to suffer.

Not the one who gets bent out of shape over why Dracthyrs are too “small” or something

He doesn’t like to suffer. He wants other people to suffer.

I don’t think I recall ever posting in one of those threads. I don’t intend to play a dracthyr. I really have no opinion and don’t care what other people want in this context. Why would you lie and say this?

Eh, some instances just take longer to run than others. I personally don’t have a problem with that and have no expectation for how long any legacy content is ‘supposed’ to take to clear.

Yeah, and that’s fine. I think most people just wish there was some kind of consistency to it, and SoO is particularly long. And the good stuff, as usual, is usually being held onto at the end of the encounter.

On one hand, I think that “barrier to entry” of sorts helps those items be somewhat exclusive or limited and that’s helping to keep them… rare and flashy. Which can be a good thing.

But my perspective, and the perspective of many transmog enthusiasts, collectors, and otherwise, is after grinding some of the stuff for years and years it’s always the best when you finally at long last get the fruits of your labor and know you don’t have to go through that daily/weekly/whenever anymore.

The problem with SoO is that it’s at the extreme end of the bell curve for raid lengths even with one shotting everything. There’s only so fast you can go due to scripting and character speed. If SoO was closer to the middle of the bell curve, no one would have an issue with it. But it’s not. If memory serves, SoO was the break point that the blizz devs admitted in the past that they had gone too far with raid length and number of bosses.

Did I say “murdercarpet is getting bent out of shape for Dracthyrs?”

There is no such thing as suffering from a video game

You either get what you like or don’t

For instance I’m farming warglaives of azzinoth on my DH, it didn’t drop this week

Do I get mad because I didn’t get my way? No

I’ll do it again next week

Have you memorized the dialogue from the Illidan encounter yet? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I know all the lines from ICC, BT, Ulduar, SoO… I actually know a lot of voicelines from WoW, period.

What are we, if not slaves to this torment?

As someone who has farmed endlessly for many of the most rare mounts in the game (Invisible, Ashes, Rivendare, Attumen, Elegon, Mimiron, etc.) …this SoO is by far the most annoying mostly because of the amount of time it takes to get to Garrosh. Look I don’t mind the drop rate, that doesn’t bother me, it’s just the slog to get there. But I won’t argue against a skip.

At the same time I understand that one could argue that getting to Garrosh is part of the grind so I can’t really argue against that, either.

I’ve always said that for us mount collectors, getting one is bittersweet. It’s a huge rush when you get the one you’re after but at the same time that means you’re that much closer to ending your quest. I’m rambling at this point, I guess my verdict is just leave it alone.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

You were replying directly to me, suggesting very strongly that I was one of those people.

Then why are you constantly trying to convince people to play in ways you know they don’t want to play?

You do. And you come here to trash people to blow off steam.

Every time you post you make Blizzard look bad.

This curse has not broken me yet.

No because while those RPs happen I do something else

Like I finally mastered to one shot a guardian a yesterday!

I do? Didn’t know you are constantly watching me in game that’s kinda weird

People need reminders that this is a video game, you need to stop making it your top priority reasons why you’re mad/upset

Find something more productive when you do get those moments like go cut the yard or grow plants or something

Talk to your parents/family and see how they’re doing

Oh, I see, multitasking games like a boss.

I was doing that with Pokemon for a while but mostly because I was hatching so many eggs. In BoTW I have only defeated one of the giant bosses. I should get back into that. Debating if I want to spend money on DF pre-order or just get a six month sub and grind WoW tokens to buy it that way.

Of course this thread gets derailed by pointless bickering. Good job, guys!

To be fair OP made it clickbait

I prefer this kind of derailment to the hot topic du jour on the forums these days.

I have all the mounts from Dragon Soul and SoO so I don’t think there should be a skip.

Put a skip in, these raids are terrible.

p.s. I fail at hiding text.

Imagine them putting in a skip for DS and they put it right before the spine encounter. I’d die.

I personally have never had issues soloing that but I know that to this day a lot of people still lament over it.

Can’t argue with you there
