Possible feral nerf, since you have to use a glyph slot now?
This was the original change MOST people on the druid discord thought should happen, and it did. A good place to tune, solid.
nice

Cool fix.
now where warrior buff.
This is what should have happened in the first place.
Minor nerf that only really affects people that play the class perfectly anyways, but is how the buff should have been implemented anyways. Doubt this will stop people from losing their minds over ferals doing high dps, but at least this may shut them up for a couple minutes.
Really don’t need separate threads for everything on PTR.
We also don’t need you here, but yet here you are.
I’m guessing they just didn’t think this through at all, like the previous changes. This change doesn’t nerf feral DPS in any meaningful way (less than 1%, especially in ICC gear). It only nerfs QoL and makes the spec less fun to play (fewer big juicy Bite crits).
not really because it’s barely a nerf
Aw the whining fury warriors won.
No! I now lose 4s of rip glyph! RIP glyph of rip
Barely a nerf, makes rotation clunkier, zzzzzzzz.
Would have preferred a minor glyph to reduce bear form threat and have the rotation go back to what it was in Naxx. It was way more fun and had way more skill expression when bearweaving and flowershifting were top dog. I didn’t roll feral to be a top pumper, I rolled feral to play an interesting spec with a rotation I find challenging and enjoyable. My competition was on parses within my spec, not damage meters. This Omen glyph means we’ll replace Rip glyph which will make the rotation feel worse without much difference in damage output.
how does this affect the pvp ferals?
Prolly decently.
Since they wont be getting free shreds or whatever with FF.
They weren’t getting free shred with FFF already.
This doesn’t change anything for PvP outside of using FFF on an NPC in AV.
LMFAO
hopefully they’re still working on the munching bug.
Munching is fixed for mages.
Feral nerds are saying that you now drop the rip extension glyph in favour of this, it’s not a huge problem and is approximately a 1-2% nerf.
