I need to find an olivewing butterfly for an achievement. I’ve gone to all the places wowhead said they are but have not found one. Has anyone ever found one? If so, where.
Have you tried checking at different times of the day? There are some critters that only come out at night, or during the day.
Consider blowing up a bunch of critters in one of the areas they’re supposed to appear. If memory serves, some places will populate via RNG, so it could be that every “critter spot” is occupied by squirrels or something.

According too a post on wowhead I found this…/way Stormsong Valley 25.83, 70.26 Olivewing…if you don’t use Tomtom addon get it …then you can copy and paste this coord into your chat and it will mark the map for location…
I found one in Stormsong Valley on the northwest bluff (the place that overlooks Warfang Hold to the northeast and Turtletown to the west).
are you using a macro?
you’ll drive yourself crazy if you’re trying to find one by “looking” 
i think i found mine in the south-east of the zone, near the Tainted Yetis.
