I know this is old news but I have been at this for a while and when a Corrupted finally arrived, i didnt get credit for the kill. Seems unfair to spend hours trying to spawn these rares just to not have the credit of the kill. (Im the only one out here) Im just finishing old achievements and reps, is this even worth the trouble?
Were you in Warmode on when this happened?
Did another person get / have the tag and you never realised?
There are a set of coordinates on wowhead for a specific putreous mob that if you kill regularly. Will force the rarer corrupted to spawn.
I will link it when I get home.
Having that targeting macro for corrupted while flying around is required for quick respawns.
Not in Warmode. No one was around me at the time. And I checked my combat log… The correct mob was hitting me for damage and still no credit for kill.
