I really liked the idea Blizzard utilized in Legion of updating/remaking old tier sets as raid/pvp gear. I’d personally like to see a remake of Rogue tier 8. What are some tier sets you guys and gals would like to see born again?

I’m the opposite. They were wasted tiers. Revamping old gear shouldn’t take away new tiers.
They should have just updated the old art.

I’m not sure I’m a huge fan of remaking sets that are still available.
If they want to bring back old stuff, I think it would be a good opportunity to bring back new versions of exclusive stuff. Keep the original version of exclusive things unavailable, but make a change here and there or a new tint. Something to differentiate it.

I think its lazy. reusing old assets when they should be giving us new ones.
It was great, and I’d be thrilled to see the old sets brought into the modern century to.

Warrior tier 1
I enjoyed the legion sets. However, I’m not a fan of it if they continue to make a habit out of it.
Just reminds me how almost all of the allied races are reskins of other races. Like, we want new stuff, not reskinned old stuff.
I just want more high resolution boots which are molded to the character’s feet and doesn’t stick out.

Honestly, of all the tiers to be brought back, I think tier 6 was one of the best choices they could make. Especially because it’s my favorite set / elite mog. I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. Getting those and actually having tier sets back so I could look like a priest again would be a hell of a lot better than our current situation.

I wouldn’t want the old tiers “updated” (and thus replaced). With how they do things today I am not always a fan of their artistic decisions. Like with Legion’s revamp of tier 6 they totally borked the mage boots (they basically weren’t boots anymore, just flat painted on socks as is their trend these days).
What I wouldn’t mind however, are cosmetic ensembles of “modern takes” of old sets that come from sources such as reps or achievements, and not taking up the art of a new tier set. That way we get new stuff via tier, and can still see re-imaginings of old sets through other sources. Heck they could even make the ensemble craftable and require the actual gear from the old set as materials to craft the ensemble for the updated version!
It really is a terrible shame what Blizz has been doing to cloth footwear over the years though. We went from boots with actual 3D geometry, to flat painted on socks. Here’s a visual to show what I mean:

They need to stop that BS. Just because a robe hides the boots isn’t an excuse to cheap out and not make them actual boots. In the age of transmog, robes aren’t always used.
I enjoy the Tier 6 Pally remake and still do. Would love Judgement remake!

I would like to see them expand onto Challenge mode gear from MoP
