Nah, Sunken Temple was always a dungeon. It was just insanely long, so it felt like a raid. lol
I do love the old version. New version was so cut down.

Originally, it was a raid a hard raid with multiple bosses and pretty hard mechanics.
Ohhh no it was before that. It was redone three times over the years ,down graded to a dungeon.
I ran ST a lot in Vanilla. It was always five of us, not a raid. Boss levels were lowered in BC and then again Wrath. Then it was revamped in Cata. It was listed under World Dungeons on the original Vanilla website.

I ran it too and it wasn’t a 5 man dungeon it was a full raid ,but that is up to you to decide .
When did you run sunken temple when it was more than 5 people? I only started playing in TBC and started doing ST in wrath, but always remember it as 5.

I really just want them to bring back all these old dungeons in the form of classic timewalking. I miss doing these dungeons grouped and actually having to work towards completing them and focusing on the mechanics instead of running it as a max level and 1 shotting everything.

No idea when that could have happened. I ran that place so much I had it memorized in Vanilla. There were only five of us.

I don’t remember it’s been a long time ago when it first came out was dragged into it by bro (he was healing),was actually my first raid, it gave me nightmare afterwards. I guess it was too much flashing for me.
I would love to see the old sunken temple return again. Lot of great memories for me there.
Now, every time I go there in it’s new form, I shed a tear. It’s just not the same.

It went from one of my most hated dungeons — then once I learnt the layout & such, to one of my favourites back in the day 
I would LOVE – If they’d brought the old school version of it back

Same for me! I quickly learned the pathing on getting to the dungeon entrance

Once you learnt the layout, it became a fantastic dungeon for levelling too.
I do miss the simplicity from classic dungeons sometimes to be honest … Wasn’t as high strung or stressful — Just POW, dodge, leap - SWOOSH - don’t step in the bad, hiyah and a woot ~ roll in the loot! 
I wonder if Pyromor mixed up sunken temple with Temple of AQ, or if sunken temple was one of those could be done as raid but only for loot like Scholo, Strath, LBRS and BRD were
