Are there any websites out there that duplicate the format Blizzard originally used for the talent calculatorsin 2004–2006? I have some old documents with links to talent builds but they are of course gibberish unless plugged into the calculator.
https://classic.wowhead.com
Their current talent calculator URL format is completely different from the old Blizzard one. For that matter, it’s different from the format they themselves used back in the day.
Oh sorry. I thought it had an import.
That one doesn’t, but you inspired me to poke around more, and it looks like https://legacy-wow.com/
uses the original Blizzard format for the talent picks, if not the stuff preceding. So thank you!
Possibly this one?

I can’t remember the exact format, so if you have examples
Yep, that looks like the format I remember, and it matches what legacy-wow.com
puts out.
I have URLs from the BC-era talent calculator. Thought I had some from vanilla but those sections in the file are empty.
Example:
Full-on Felguard (/47/ points) - http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/warlock/talents.html?0000000000000000000002052030133250102531351000000000000000000000
So now we have two websites that are compatible. Thanks again!
