Old raids won't be fixed

buys the new expansion precisely for this content

Then why have any solo content?

Want to level? All mobs should be elite.

If you’re going to peddle some idiotic “excuse”, stand by it.

If you want people to group up for legacy content, shouldn’t they be grouping for everything current?

These changes are still new and will take time for folks to adjusted, a lot of premised groups are running legacy content at the moment so it will get easier to find groups as time goes on!

Aww someone’s mad that not everyone buys an expansion for the same content since there’s all kinds of content people play, not just M+ d’aw cry hard stupid.

what a joke.
No guy…Ion didnt get the gang together and decide to make some 4 year old raid ‘challenging’ so we’d all group up.
The simple fact is their common core math mucked it all up and they dont have the time or inclination to fix it.
Lord

WoW has a deep and rich lore and art style which gets buried behind all the new content, Ion recognized this and created this system to support the artists and writers of WoW by allowing players to experience legacy content with current content power rules.

LOL@common core math

Sounds a lot like PvP scaling too

This is conjecture at best, as stated in the interview this is the way the system works now!

All I can say is hats off to Blizzard. They actually manage to have people buy new expansions so they can spend more time doing older expansions, which they already weren’t limited to.

absolute nonsense.
You’ll figure it out in a year or two.

  • raiders want to raid current content…not crap from 5 years ago
  • non raiders want to farm mogs and pets…not spend four hours doing it.

you have NO player group of any consequential numbers to run old raids …youre going to have to come to terms with that eventually

Not everyone does something for a reward, some folks enjoy a challenge as well just to feel pride and accomplishment for completing it. Legacy raids are no different, folks do it to get their rare mounts and transmogs and the price of those have gone up in terms of player input, so if players grouped up then they can get what they wanted quicker! What’s the issue in that?

It has to be Ralph.

Yea I called this when they first announced the level 60 squish. People kept ranting about how it was fine after the ilvl squish. It wasn’t though. They never fixed it. All they did was wait for our ilvl to increase. So here we are. Both with an ilvl AND a level squish. And people wonder why old raids are borked now. You just got hit with a double wammy of squished scaling. We’re gonna have to wait till near expac end to get back to where we were at the end of bfa. SMH.

Multi-dollar company btw.

Ralph actually hates raiders though.
