So I just recently started playing again and I was wondering how doing old raids solo with the new level system works. I last played in BFA so you could do most anything pre-Legion solo easily, but now with the new system, changes to classes etc. I was wondering how easy/hard it was to do older raids etc. with characters 70-80.
Like would say, anything Shadowlands and before be easy like it was before? Or is it BFA and back? Etc.

The basic guideline is that you should still need a group for last expansion’s raids, but the expansion before that should be soloable, or become soloable with gear.
And so it is now.
Shadowlands and earlier is soloable. Dragonflight is not.
The last bosses in Shadowlands might be tricky or need gear, depending on your class and skill, and mechanics. You can always check by going to YouTube and searching for the boss you’re interested in - if it’s soloable, there will be vids.
Searching for Solo Jailer Mythic throws up a bunch of examples, so that’s clear.
You will probebly want to get to 80 and get at least a little gear to make it smoother.
