Knew this was going to happen… just like last time. Already dying to stuff I soloed with ease…
I’m just gonna wait till Shadowlands and the new level 60 before I even go near mythic Eonar again…
You are aware that there have been a number of employees leaving Blizzard recently, right? And they just closed an entire studio in Europe…
just wanting to clarify that this never happened.
they enabled legacy LOOT, not the legacy debuff.
we all did, because it was expected.
can we stop pretending to be shocked and amazed?
i used to solo mythic tomb. can only get goroth to about 60% now.
You are aware that Blizzard has historically had Team A and Team B and that those are based primarily in California, yes? I really do not understand why so many people feel the need to blindly defend the poor business practices of mama blizz.
What they do is plan too many things and because they don’t have time they do most of them halfway. It is really a terrible work ethic they have going there.
I would rather them do half as much and do that properly.
It’s been at least 16 YEARS… they’ve got a Team C, if not a Team D by now…
I wasn’t defending them in the least, merely adding some facts to help back up your claim that the equivalent of an entire development team may have been dropped… Bellular on YouTube has videos that cover this topic, there are other sources out there too… this patch simply shows that recent events have indeed had an impact in the game’s short-term health, if not also the long-term…
They increased the size of the development team. That isn’t who was laid off. And Bellular isn’t a good source of information on the subject since that video he did was more fiction than fact.
Thank you for clarifying… I still can’t help but wonder if an entire studio having closed down won’t somehow affect WoW going forward…
I do agree that some of the insight he gives is more sensationalism than anything, but unless he was also lying about speaking with former blizzard developers, I would think there is at least some credibility to be found there…
I’m acting neither shocked nor amazed…
This feels normal for a squish. bFA pre patch was hard to adjust to especially since we had everything on GCD ONTOP of a squish and loosing our artifact powers.
This will pass one way or another. Hopefully soon we will get a quick hot fix and slight boost to restore a little bit of power we had b4 squish.
Well - it is true… I can no longer do rare farming on Mechagon, nor kill rares in other WQS that were trivial yesterday.
This isn’t a subtle change… going from splatting a mob, to being unable to kill it at all.
Here are my before/after stats, and a sample mob. Notice my health has dropped by a factor of 26, my spell power by a factor of 21 and the mob’s health by only a factor of 7. That’s a clear change in relative power.
You have actually gained stats.
I noticed this too, and I am not sure how its possible.
The mob having more health doesn’t necessarily make it more difficult, but I don’t recognize that mob so maybe in this specific case it does.
Yeah, I agree you got hit hard with the nerf bat!
I sent them tons of bug reports.
They did this squish the wrong way. It should have all scaled the same instead of being relative to what it was before. Had they done it that way we’d never need another game wide squish ever again…just to shuffle the latest expansion into the mix when something new is released.
Only blizzard could have complicated this, lol
It isn’t just that mob, that’s just the one I picked for the screen shot.
Mobs that were 1-2M before the patch and I killed with ease, are literally unkillable now.
Before I’d not even bother with CDs and kill them - now I’ve thrown up everything, even both sets of mirror images to stop being damaged, time warp, arcane power, azerite power everything - and I can’t kill them.
No they aren’t. You just need to adjust to your class changes and get better.
Please don’t say stuff like this though.
It really discredits your argument.
Once more with feeling - the mobs are now UNKILLABLE … as a matter of actual fact.
My class changes involve almost no changes… and yesterday I killed them easily with TWO spells, today I can’t kill them with my whole tool kit (which by the way I’ve been practicing on beta and PTR for months).
You seriously need to keep your garbage comments to yourself.
No, they aren’t.
If you encountered a mob that doesn’t die when its health reaches 0, its a bug.
Otherwise, its killable.
