I’m a new player to WoW and I am going and doing old raids for the gear that they get, you know, for looks and stuff. like for example I just did firelands and I got some gear, however, all of the gear I’ve gotten so far for isnt going into my transmog. Is this like intentional? If so how do people have like raid sets as transmogs? Thanks
Only gear in your armor and class goes into your transmogs. I see you are a warrior. If you want cloth pieces, you would need to run a clothie through Firelands. If you want paladin pieces, you would need to run a paladin. Class-only mogs have class restrictions.

This also applies to weapon unlocks. Fortunately, as a Warrior, you don’t have to worry much about this part (since the only weapons warriors can’t equip are wands), but something else to be aware of when acquiring new transmog pieces.
And there’s a “furthermore:” if you get tier tokens for your class, you have to use them in order to get the tier piece.
To add to that furthermore, the rules for tier tokens can vary from raid to raid. Most simply allow you to “use” the token to get the tier piece. However, there are still a couple of raids in-game that require you to actually take the token to a vendor to exchange for the specific tier piece. (Icecrown Citadel is one of the more notable places this occurs)
If you get a tier token, you may have to do a bit of research to learn how you can redeem it.
