Old Pandarian appearances

Years ago, Pandaran warriors got a rather nifty looking two handed Trainee’s Sword as a quest reward in the starting zone. Of course, it was a weak, white item, since it was starter zone material, but to my knowledge, that appearance was “only” available to pandaran warriors.

When I found out about white item transmogging, I made another Pandaran warrior, to find they now begin with a one handed axe and a shield.

Is there a way to unlock this sword’s appearance?

At the moment, that appearance appears to be unavailable, despite being in the transmog tab. Even looting the weapon rack in the arms spec still yields the one-hander and shield.

Highlighting things like this is what’ll spur Blizz to add it to a Wandering Isle vendor, or something to that effect.
