Are there any “outdated” habits from prior expansions that you still do and laugh at yourself for still doing it?
For example, carrying around Mining Picks for Mining, Fishing Poles for Fishing, Skinning Knives for Skinning, etc.
What do you find yourself still doing?
I’ll start: I still hoard things for Transmog purposes because I’m afraid I’m going to glitch out the Transmog System (#irrationalfears).

Yes. Also, I carry every item that gives me a teleport somewhere, as well as the legion legendary fishing pole.
Heck, on this guy I might still carry the secret whistle and the thingamabob for coins of air. Edit: Just checked, I don’t have either of those things. I DO have the badge for the order hall entrance, as well as the bfa alchemist stone (haven’t bothered making the SL one, ilvl 165, lol) I also carry a spyglass. Because reasons.
Not exactly the same game, but uh …
I still jump constantly, everywhere I go, because of leveling acrobatics in Oblivion. Sorry if it annoys you, it’s just ingrained into me now. 
Heh, I (also) still carry my Mats with me, whenever I go to craft despite being able to craft with Mats in your Bank, too LOL
I do all of that.
If I didn’t, it would not make sense for my characters to be able to do those activities.
(One of my characters also carries a book to read on long flight paths.)
I still carry around trade gear. They give +10 skill level. Plus you need them for crafting like the BS hammer or engy spanner. So those aren’t for nothing. I also still carry around my hearthstone. Plus expac specific items. All in all my bags will always be about half full due to everything required and I have 34 slot bags.
i still use the void storage to store extra gear with different stat itemization i might want to tinker with in the future for different builds
i definitely still carry around a fishing pole. the +20 fishing feels meaningful

I also collect unusual in-game alcohols. Bank full of tabards. Etc
I love my dead-murloc-on-a-stick, and I’m going to fish with it no matter what.
From 2005-2006, I typed /camp to log out, because that’s how I thought it was done.
Me to I even crafted the chaos theory legendary just so I had a excuse to still press blade dance lol
Apply nitro boosts to every belt I equip.
Keep herbalism+alchemy on this mage and mining+blacksmithing on my warrior.
Yeah yeah, I know, everybody has their herbing+mining druid mule to smugly fly around gathering nodes in bird form with because that’s the “right” way to do it, but dagnabbit this guy’s been herb+alch since the alchemist was the first profession trainer he stumbled upon in 2005 and so he’ll be herb+alch until I quit or the servers shut down, whichever comes first.
I have this kooky habit of going to the rightmost teller in the bank and the rightmost auctioneer in the auction house. 
Find low hanging ceilings and repeatedly jump to look like I’m violating the wall.
