So, I would love to see the return of the old goblin faces, or a revamp on their detail.
I’m not too sure how many people have Goblin characters or are bothered by the new models as I am…but I have to admit, my goblin rogue alt…I hardly have any real interest in playing after the update in Shadowlands. …The new faces just all seem to be so simple and similar that I just can’t get myself behind playing them now. …They’ve just gone from being this snide, smirking trickster and menacing hooligan to just this blank, over the hill used car salesman.
What I mean is, here, just give this a look and you’ll notice what I mean almost instantly.

They’re overly smoothed and I think they lost their “roughness” in the update.
I personally never noticed goblin changes that much as I’ve never played one.
Female undead had the same issue. Their last face option used to be a skeletal face in classic, when they updated it they lost that look completely. No skeleton option. It sucks

Glad to see someone else is bothered with these things aswell.
Losing that “look” and almost “feel” to the race you are playing is well…for most players it is because they make their class to a race and build upon it to see their character “embody” that class in a way.
…They want to see their character depict what class they are and “look the part” so to speak. …I mean you wouldn’t make a warlock to have them smiling and sugar coated like they’re just skipping around under a rainbow or something like that. I mean…really, right?
I prefer the mean mugging look of old.

Three of my five active characters are goblin guys, and my only complaint is the size of the lip on certain skins. A younger face option wouldn’t be bad, either, but I’m okay with the more neutral eyebrow arch and wider eyes. They previously didn’t look like they could convincingly sell a food stand.
Agreed, the new faces are ugly as heck. Just look at Maxx Avalanche, the shaman goblin trainer on Kezan. He use to look so cool and now he looks like a wide eyed and soft pixar character.
