I would argue That just add the classic wow 1-60 overworld to this list as well. Also classic wow 1-60 for chromie time. I had so much fun lvling in that overworld back in the day. And i would do it all over again if it was an option for chromie time.
I feel like the problem is that someone is always complaining about something. I am sure people would que up and get put into BRD, and be like, man this place is horrible. The fire up world of warcraft forums and complain. I think blizz needs to ignore these types of players though. Someone is always complaining about wow. And half the time, they aren’t even being objective about it. It usually just turns out to be a full on hate fest.
I think it would be cool to see an option added at least. I miss wrath of the lich king. Most dungeons now can be completed with like 3 people afk. Which makes no sense. Even back then it was kind of trivial, but i guess it could be done. But wrath was faster than both classic and classic bc.
I mean, i honestly would rather a version of retail with the same pacing as wrath of the lich king, with the classic wow overworld attached for chromie time. I mean, in this day in age, it truly does feel like no one will fully and truly be satisfied.
I still remember in wrath, oculus was one of the most hated dungeons in the whole game. I still think it is one of the worst dungeons. It still exists in retail to. Blizzard added a extra loot bag at the end of the run for a random play through to entice more people to join up and actually play through the entirety. This loot back did not exist if you specific qued.
I remember trial of the champions being overall disliked as well, but i mean, people need to stop being so entitled. Not everything can be perfect. I am also not saying any of my suggestions should be added to the game. But you could probably go onto the forums right now and find someone saying they are going to quit because of torghast or something like that. Or if they do not make the mage towers more accessible they are quiting. Like, who cares lol.
With the idea presented, let us say that a large majority of players start to drop BRD every time it pops up for a group. I think blizz could add a special loot bag at the end to entice people to actually do the whole thing. I am sure there are other ideas, because lord knows blizzard hasn’t had other ideas that just did not work. I still remember Dragon soul being one of the worst raids universally.
Adding things and ideas that haven’t worked is amazing. Even if other folks do not like it. I mean, who really knows if an idea will work or not these days. I think it is important to try out new stuff, especially for a 15 year old game. I mean, the mega dungeons at end game could have some exclusive rewards as well for those who decided to churn through them at end game. Like specific pieces of gear or transmog sets. It would not blow progression out of the water though. But would give some unique stuff for the people who really wanted to expore the heck out of the new and old mega dungeons.
