I made a new character today on retail and its taking a long time to get through old content dungeons like stratholm rfc ect. bosses especially have a lot of hp and take on average 5-6 minutes to kill even with a decked out group. I’m using bta gear with enchants gems ect and still takes this long. I think they hp is way to high for some reason
Agreed. Bosses take forever. And some of them can simply one-shot tanks.
i stopped at level 30 beecause i dont think its supposed to take this long. its like a raid boss
yeah, a lot of tanks are struggling to hold aggro on bosses as it stands. i’ve all but given up on dungeon crawling and just decided to level up via exploration and archaeology.
slow as hell, but its better than spending close to an hour trying to clear a dungeon with a group, and spending gold on repair bills after wiping half a dozen times to bosses, let alone trash mobs that hit like a truck.
just had a group disband because the boss was hitting the blood dk tank for 1/3 hp per swing, aoe was hitting group for 20% per second, was literally impossible with the healers healing scaled down to tiny numbers
lets hope they fix it
Im farming Mechagon for the mount every week and since 10.0 its so much harder to do that at 60 with ilvl 250 chars, before that i had no issues at all. Everything hits harder and have like double the HP… also bosses drop almost ilvl 159 gear and this is a 50lvl content…
Dungeon scale tanking and our team is getting wrecked. Blood DK getting killed in two hits from bosses. The drackthyr healer is able to tank better than my DK lol. Definitely some sort of bug or scaling issue ongoing.
