Ol' Wax Beard Not Dropping Loot

I started tanking about 2 weeks ago on an alt and have done Darkflame Cleft now and it appears that Ol’ Wax Beard is bugged and is no longer dropping loot for some people

Twice now we’ve killed him and the body has not had any loot (no sparkles were on the body). Asking the group, they all said that they couldn’t loot him as well.

These groups were alts and newer players, so there was a wipe or 2 before the boss was killed, but that shouldn’t cause any issues right?

But more over, as it happened twice, two weeks in a row makes me think it is a bug or at least a rare one only affecting some players.

Which difficulty did you run the duration on?

Right, I should have clarified.

But both times happened on Mythic 0.

I cant remember how loot in M0 works. M+ is guaranteed 2 at the end, and M0 is per boss but it may not be guaranteed. Perhaps someone else can chime in.
