Yeah, they’ll do all that mid xpac, as per usual.
Alright Mr. Classic Gnome
Pass, I have been filling the void time with RL and other games I wanted to check out. They can take their time and try to polish things up a bit more.
And this is another instance where people don’t really know how game development works.
World of Warcraft is an RPG. It has layers of systems that work with each other, and those layers can go very deep. It’s impossible for them to balance out absolutely everything because there are too many variables that can occur within the game for just one player, never mind millions. They could delay it until they’ve done so, but that would be months from now, and the community is anxious for new content. QA and beta testing can only do so much, so it’s much better to release the game into the larger player pool and fix issues that arise as people play.
If Blizzard took their time with it, you wouldn’t see this expansion until next year.
Not really, they’ve made plenty of massive change and tunings mid-xpac. All you gotta do is look back at the last 2 years and you’ll see plenty of it.
This isn’t what I’m saying at all. I never indicated that they wouldn’t continue to work on the game. My whole point is that any work they did for Shadowlands prior to release is likely done at this point. The game is ready to go. They can try to tune and change the expansion all they want, but ultimately, they won’t really know what absolutely needs fixed until the entire community is playing the game.
If it’s not done, then you can probably expect a delay in the coming week.
we would have to wait until December, 2021 for the first season of the expac to actually BE DONE. we are about to get a heaping pile of live beta testing dumped on us, and then hear “we hear you, we are listening” for 2 years.
The pink hair was a nice touch. 6/10
BfA 2.0.
Just because you collect battle pets, mounts, and achievements like you collect fidget spinners, yu-gi-oh! cards, and anime figurines, doesn’t mean everyone else wants to. Some of us just want content. And maybe, just maybe, a pre-patch that isn’t 2 weeks long.
Aⁿd ᴵ pᵒsᵗeᵈ ᵗhᶦs ᵒⁿ mʸ ᵍⁿᵒmᵉ because I didn’t even know you could pick different characters, but I’ll have you know I’ve done precisely NOTHING that you’re probably referencing, because this game doesn’t consume my life. That said, I -do- pay for it just like everyone else does, and I want my elves with chinstraps and for this post-expac campaign to be O V E R and these corruptions OUT. I want to PUBSTOMP in epics without getting OBLITERATED by 4 practically instant cast Gpies, etc. while somehow, the mage on my side thought “Yeah, four seconds is enough to win. 1000 corruption please. Forget that dumb cape.”
I’m so salty it hurts my tiny pink beard. I’m crusted, musted, and busted with salt. There’s so much salt flowing from my every orifice, I could single-handedly outproduce Diamond AND Morton. My Thyroid can’t handle the iodide, my I’m blind from the desiccation because I started crying actual crystals of salt weeks ago. My kidneys are gone, replaced with tiny balloons of yet more salt. I could solve world hunger, if only we could subsist on sodium chloride. The dead sea has nothing on me. I am a salt elemental. A creature of pure crystal, a new life form. Salt-based life. That’s me.
And only a pre-patch will hydrate me.
R I O T!
Edit: forgot the blockquote, and, yes, before you ask, I have played around with brewfest, I -do- have the wolpertinger, yes, it is adorable, and the tiny, tiny drop of serotonin it gave me was fantastic. But that’s all it was. a drop. A drop in the ocean of salt.
I won’t sully my good cloth by being near rioters. But I will leave this cache of explosives and weaponry in support of your cause.
all of that stuff is content.
thankfully the game doesn’t cater solely to you, or nobody would have anything to do.
so… you don’t play the game enough to have done most of the content, but you still want new content which you can ignore?
ok!
if brewfest is disappointing for you, the prepatch won’t entertain you for very long.
